Vandas are extremely easy plants to care for. Being succulents they can store water and withstand the hottest days.
The cultivation of the Vandas has a special aspect which is that they are placed in teak wood baskets without substrate and they wrap their roots to it. This facilitates cultivation because you do not have to change its substrate, which is something that is very traumatic and allows them to grow tall, a Vanda can be 1 meter tall without counting the roots. To reach that size you have to take good care of them since a small deficiency of nutrients or lack of water causes them to lose the lower leaves.
The older and bigger your Vanda is, the more flowers it will produce, and they can have up to 18 flowers per inflorescence.
They don't really like to be moved so when you find a place you like it's best to leave it there.
