The Anguloas, also known as Parrot orchid, Cradle Orchid and Tulip Orchid, are a beautiful genus with big, strong and aromatic flowers.
This lovely Anguloa’s hybrid with big flowers has an anise and menthol fragrance. It is a strong plant and it blooms 2 to 3 times per year.
This hybrid was made in Finca Dracula by Andrew Maduro who was seeking to get a big flower like the Ang. clowesii and the color of the Ang. cliftonii.

The Anguloa is a genus of orchids that come from The Andes of South America. Generally they have big flowers, wide and thin palm shaped leaves that change in each station and oval bulbs.
It's a genus relative of the Lycaste and Maxilaria.
